DRENCHED

His life is lonely, dark and dense.

Sometimes the relentless rain,

Sometimes alcohol has him drenched.

His fate is scarred, his night is tense.

Sometimes the relentless rain,

Sometimes alcohol has him drenched.

His eyes are teary, his fists are clenched.

Sometimes the relentless rain,

Sometimes alcohol has him drenched.

Broken relations and broken dreams, leave nothing in his defense.

It was neither the relentless rain nor the alcohol,

He was destined to be drenched.
